about double bubble deformity

Double Bubble Deformity – Some women who have had breast augmentation experience what is known as the “double bubble” deformity or the “double fold.” This causes the breast to have two parallel curvilinear creases along the lower pole of the breast and is a condition that can be corrected. The techniques for correction of the double bubble deformity vary somewhat from patient to patient, but Dr. Handel has extensive experience in correcting the double bubble deformity, and provides double fold breast deformity surgery in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. Recently, he wrote an article for the major plastic surgery journal on the causes, prevention and treatment of double bubble deformity, which outlines all of the approaches that he employs to correct this deformity when it is diagnosed.
